Does loving mean opening your heart to the possibility of pain?
Every second of her day, Mary waited for her husband to return from the military. So, when she suddenly saw a man in the uniform in her front yard, she got beyond excited. She decided to surprise her love with a kind of scavenger hunt. She left pieces of her clothes on the ground, including the underwear. But when a man entered the house, calling her name, Mary understood that it was a complete stranger. She got scared and whacked him with a frying pan from behind.
The man fell to the ground but remained calm. Turns out, he was her spouse’s friend and needed to deliver some harsh news – Mary would never see her husband again.
But then, something else came up, the stranger, Taylor, informed Mary that from now on, he would take care of her.
