Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren walks out of jail after 150 days

On June 28, the former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren walked out of the Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi after 150 days.

The Jharkhand High Court granted bail to Soren in the money laundering case linked to a land scam.

Justice Rongon Mukhopadhyay passed the order after hearing the matter earlier on June 13.
