Google Docs: Table of Contents, Headers, & Outline Tool

This tutorial will walk you through how to create a table of contents in Google Docs and also how to create hyperlinks within your document. Also covered is how to use the new Document Outline tool in Google Docs. Please note: “Document outline” has been renamed “Show document outline” and moved from the Tools menu to the View menu.
