In this video I show how to open the dell laptop, remove and replace the battery, replace or add RAM, and remove and replace the solid state drive (hard drive). This particular model is a Dell Inspiron 7000 series laptop, model 7579, 2-n-1 laptop with touch screen. But many of the laptops in this series are very similar.
You can skip forward to the sections that you need, but I encourage you to watch it all and maybe learn a thing or two.
