Primal Supply owner Heather Marold Thomason opened her Philadelphia-based whole animal butcher business with the goal of improving local food supply chains that support farmers. Now, the shop’s three locations and online business offer meat from about 18 locally-sourced whole animals a week, leaving little if anything to waste.
