How to trim and extend lines using QGIS including a snapping vertex trick! It took me a while to understand how this works and thought others would find it useful also
In this video I go over how the trim & extension features work including test cases working with projected/unprojected coordinate systems and why at least at this moment everything should be in the same coordinate system with a projected one preferably.
As a bonus I provide a way to show vertex of features using a geometry generator and setting a buffer to simulate the snapping tolerance which can aid in digitizing.
