Seven levels of the Alegrías compás for beginner to advanced guitarists.
Alegrías is one of the main flamenco forms - in this video I show you the basic chords of in the key of E along with the 12 beat count which can be quite challenging. The traditional accents fall on the 3rd, 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th beats (with the heaviest accents occurring on the 3 and 10). I've included a ton of flamenco guitar techniques here to challenge you - test your skills with these and see if you can get up to "Level 7"!
