Before using the Sandbox feature
Before using the Sandbox feature on Windows 10, you need to enable it first. In addition, you need to have Windows 10 professional or higher.
Check to See If your virtualization is enabled

1. Right-click and empty spot on the taskbar and select 'Task Manager.'
2. Click 'More Details' if the window is small.
3. Click the 'Performance' tab.
4. Go to the 'CPU' section from the left side.
5. Look at the bottom right part of the window. It will let you know if virtualization is enabled or disabled. If it is disabled, you need to enable it via the BIOS or UEFI settings. If it is enabled, you can skip that step.

To boot to UEFI settings:
1. Click the 'Start' button and type 'Advanced startup pptions' in the search field.
2. Select 'Change advanced startup options' from the search results.
3. Go to the bottom. Under where it says 'Advanced startup,' Click 'Restart.' You will then see a blue screen that says 'Choose an option.'
4. Click 'Troubleshoot and select 'Advanced options.' You will then see several options.
5. Select 'UEFI firmware settings.' This will restart your computer to the UEFI or BIOS settings.
6. The options to enable virtualization are usually in the security, CPU or advanced settings.
Note: if your PC is from 2014 or older, you may have to press, F2, 10, DELETE or ENTER immediately when the computer is on. The keys you press depends on the computer manufacturer.

2. Select 'Turn Windows Features on or off' from the search results. You will see several features.
3. Go down to where it says 'Windows Sandbox' and click 'OK.'
4. Click the 'Start' button and then type 'Sandbox' in the search field. Select Windows Sandbox from the search results.
5. Now you are able to use Windows Sandbox. You are done !
