Graha Bedham Jugalbandi || IndianRaga Fellows

This is a unique medley of ragas from Carnatic and Hindustani classical music, which uses the concepts of harmony and Graha Bedham to tie both styles together. The two lines sung by the vocalists tell a story between two lovers. The first says “My lover has finally arrived!” while the other exclaims “I have arrived, now what is the delay?” The rapport between the two vocalists in the two different genres of music represents to conversation between the two lovers when they finally meet.
