A Baptist pastor with a PHD in theology accepted that he finally found the seventh-day Sabbath truth. For 56 years, the devil kept him blinded from the truth that the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD!
"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his." Hebrews 4:9,10
The Sabbath is God’s weekly reminder to us that our salvation is 100 percent the
gift of His grace, totally His accomplishment and not ours, to be received into our
lives by faith alone. Good works (right living) contribute absolutely nothing to our
salvation, while revealing it. We are saved by His creative work; our part is to rest by
trusting in His forgiving love. The Sabbath guards us against legalism and selfdependence.
It is a taste of the life we will enjoy with God in eternity future.
