This Strawberry Pretzel Surprise or Strawberry Pretzel Salad as some folks like to call it lol is one of my ALL-TIME favorite dessert recipes! The sweetness of the strawberries, mixed with the creamy whipped cream, mixed with the salty candied pretzels is absolutely delicious! Strawberry desserts have always been a favorite of mine and this one does not disappoint! If you are not sure how the pretzels taste with the rest of the ingredients, TRUST ME it works perfectly together and tastes amazing!

***UPDATE: 5/31/21 - I've started using fresh instead of frozen strawberries for this recipe especially during the spring/summer months when they are in season. It tastes fresher and it helps the gelatin not set too fast. After your gelatin is completely dissolved, just let it cool in the fridge for about 10 minutes. Then add your sliced fresh strawberries, gently stir and return to the fridge for another 10-15 minutes. Remove and gently layer strawberry gelatin on top of cool whip mixture. Refrigerate and allow to set for several hours.
