•1 cup tuar dal
•1/4 tsp turmeric
•1/2 tsp salt
•water
For sambar:
•1tbsp oil
•1/2 tsp mustard seeds
•1/2 tsp cumin seeds
•2 red chilli
•curry leaves
•1 onion (slice)
•1 chopped tomato
•drumsticks, brinjal, capsicum, potato
•1/4 tsp turmeric
•1 tsp red chilli powder
•2 tsp sambar masala
•salt to taste
•2 tsp tamarind pulp
•jaggery
•boil dal
•water fresh coriander leaves
