In this video I will show you step-by-step how to use clay to sculpt a little man sitting in a "thinker" position. I will tell you what tools you will need, what type of clay to use, and how to quickly create a little man all your own. Work at your own pace and learn to sculpted with this video. In this video, I am using Pottery clay which is much cheaper than self hardening clay. Pottery clay is excellent for practicing - but it dries very brittle. If you want to keep your completed sculpture for a long time, I suggest you use Marblex Self Hardening Clay. You can Google search Marblex to find a source for it. You can also use polymer clay for this project. I recommend Sculpey 3 Polymer Clay.

Wood or plastic clay sculpting tools (assorted types)
A flat surface to work on - I use a piece of wood in this video
A small paint brush
A cup of water
A water mister spray bottle
A plastic bag to keep your clay moist when you are not working on your sculpture.
