With a long series of puzzles covering mating patterns, stalemate tricks, piece coordination, winning pawns, and positional considerations, IM Pruess seeks not only to improve your endgame technique, but to reveal what he thinks endgame technique is! You will need to work for this wisdom.

the K moves back towards d6-e5/e6 in the very next move.} 34. h4 (34. f6 Ne5+
35. Kf5 Kd6 36. Re7!) 34... Kd6 35. h5 {this is very very tricky now.} 35... Ke5
36. h6 Kf6 37. Rg6+ Kf7 38. Rg7+ {and the black K does not have as much
territory as otherwise bc the white pawn got to h6 already.}) 34. h4 Ke5 35.
Re7+ (35. h5 Nh2+ {black wins tactically thanks to the good K position}) 35...

(38... Rxc2? 39. Rf6+ Kg7 40. Rg6+ Kf7 41. Rf6+ Ke7 42. Re6+ Kd7 43. h6 {this is
tough for black now because the black K has been pushed away, which in turn
gives the white K extra squares}) 39. Kf4 Rg4+ 40. Ke5 Nf3+ 41. Kd5 Rd4+ 42. Kc5
Rf4) 38... Rxc2! {I think it's fine to grab this pawn here, since white is not
threatening anything on the kingside as the moment; when the K advances, you can
