Post-Surgery Update: Am I Cancer Free?!

After being diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer during surgery on my left ovary back in June 2022, I decided to pursue treatment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I went through six rounds of chemotherapy (paclitaxel/carboplatin) and had two inconclusive biopsies (liver/lymph nodes). On January 16, 2023, I had a debulking surgery that included a laparotomy, hysterectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy, lymphadenectomy and an omentectomy. Today we are sharing more about the pathology results from my surgery.
