Powerful V8 Sound. Roush, a big and longtime name affiliated with Mustang performance, has developed this Axle-Back Kit to improve exhaust flow and produce a deeper, more guttural engine note that is more befitting to the 400+ ponies that are lurking up front. Intended for 2011-2014 Mustang GTs, this Roush Axle-Back uses large round canister style mufflers with a hollow chamber design. This unique internal design allows for powerful sound when mashing the throttle but then recedes to a very comfortable and drone free level when cruising around town. This is a great system for owners that want something moderately aggressive but don't want to have to deal with any obnoxious drone.
Roush Name, Roush Quality. Roush fabricates this Axle-Back system from premium 409 grade stainless steel. The system has massive round mufflers that are visible from the rear and add some flash underneath the car. In addition, big 4" tips have been chromed with a new flashing process that will keep them from discoloring due to the heat of the exhaust.
Bolt-On Install. This Axle-Back System from Roush has been specifically engineered to be a direct bolt-on replacement to the factory mufflers. Each assembly clamps onto the stock mid-pipe in the exact same fashion that the original mufflers do. Installation can be completed in 90 minutes at home using basic mechanic's tools.
