How to make kuchu (sungu) for your saree? Here is the step-by-step simple video to make your own kuchu designs for silk saree or plan sarees as well. When you buy sarees you may not have kuchu readymade at the bottom of your saree, but you can always make the kuchu design by yourself.
Make sure you use correct color thread that suits your saree color. Bunch of your favorite color threads, scissor, needles, gum and a cardboard are enough to start with your saree design.
There are varieties in kuchu designs, both by using beads and plain. Mysore silk saree will really awesome with special kuchu designs on them. In Tamil the kuchu designs are also called as "Sungu Designs"
