Onychogryphosis is a relatively common nail disorder involving abnormally thickened growth, curvature, elongation and discoloration of the nail. There are a variety of risk factors for getting Onychogryphosis including repetitive trauma, older age, poor self care and other associated conditions. In this lesson, we discuss the risk factors and causes of Onychogryphosis, including signs and symptoms of Onychogryphosis, how it’s diagnosed and how it’s treated.
