We’re going to show you several different ways that you can get up to the top of the Schilthorn and then back down again. One preferred way to get up to the Schilthorn is take the cable car up to Grutschalp and then a mountain railroad along to Murren – get out, maybe have lunch in Murren, and then the big cable car ride up to the top of the Schilthorn. Then you come back down the same cable car and you can proceed down another cable car to the valley bottom of Lauterbrunnen and proceed by public bus through the valley back to Lauterbrunnen town. There is also time for a delightful mountain walk from Murren to Gimmelwald, then go inside the mountain at Trummelbach Falls.
