Barrister Aqeel Malik has claimed that the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) failed to submit its list of candidates for reserved seats, despite claims that the party was unfairly denied representation.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has also stated that SIC did not meet the deadline to submit its list, resulting in the denial of reserved seats.
