Prithviraj Chauhan was the king of the Chauhan Rajput dynasty. He ruled India in the 12th century. Their capital was Ajmer and Delhi. He is depicted as a representative of Indian power.
Prithviraj defeated Afghan Sultan Mohammad Ghori in battle 17 times. The love story with Sanyogita, the daughter of King Jayachand of Kannauj, is known as India's greatest love story.
In the second battle of Tarain, Prithviraj was taken captive by cheating Jaichand and mohammad ghori and taken to Ghazni where he was blinded.
Prithviraj, despite being blind, killed Mohammad Ghori with his Shabd Bhedi Barn in his court.
Prithviraj is known in history as a great, popular, patriotic king.
