For newer drivers, Honda’s Elevate is friendlier than Taigun. Here are three things to keep in mind:

First, the safety features. It’s a mixed bag. Both cars aren’t offering a 360-degree camera, but both cars offer ESP as standard. The Taigun doesn’t offer hill hold as standard but offers tyre-deflation warning system as standard. Both cars get six airbags but in higher variants.

Second, the driving position. Both offer good visibility and seat height adjustability. It’s standard on the Elevate, while the base variant of the Taigun skips it. The flat bonnet on the Elevate will also make it easier for newer drivers to understand the length of the car.

Third, the engine. The Taigun’s 1-litre turbo engine is difficult to drive be it with the automatic or manual. It can feel dangerous in the traffic and will need some getting used to, especially for newer drivers. The Elevate with the NA 1.5-litre engine, in comparison, feels smoother and will be easier for a new driver.
