D9009 Flattens Lickey Bank At 36mph on load 12 !!

D9009 Alycidon, makes light work of the fearsome, Lickey Bank, on the return leg of the Torbay & Dart Explorer. The Deltic hit the bottom of the bank at 80mph & crested the summit at 36mph. Incredible to think these locos were built for speed and not hill climbing. This will be my last video of diesel traction, for quite a while, as it's not what, I focus on.
