Magnificent buildings of Bengaluru - Vidhana Soudha, Vikasa Soudha and High Court of Karnataka
Vidhana Soudha located in Bengaluru, is the seat of the state legislature of Indian state of Karnataka.
Kengal Hanumanthaiah is credited with the conception and construction of the Vidhana Soudha.
Vikasa Soudha, a replica of Vidhana Soudha, is situated to the south of the building. It is intended to be an annexe building, housing some of the ministries and legislative offices.
Both buildings are located on Dr Ambedkar Rd, Seshadripuram. Opposite to Vidhana Soudha is Cubbon Park and red building - 'The High Court of Karnataka' which was built in 1884.
