"นครสวรรค์" มีหน้าประวัติศาสตร์ที่เกี่ยวพันกับผู้คนในชาติพันธุ์ต่าง ๆ พวกเขามีจุดร่วมหนึ่งที่เด่นชัดคือ การเสาะหาแหล่งที่อาศัย และทำมาหากินที่มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ มีทำเลที่ตั้งที่ดี เชื่อมต่อกันด้วยเส้นทางการค้าขาย จากทางถนน ทางน้ำ และยังมีศาสนาสถานทั้งคริสต์ อิสลาม พุทธ เป็นที่ยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจ เมื่อทุกคนต่างเคารพให้เกียรติกัน นครสวรรค์จึงกลายเป็นสวรรค์ของการค้าที่คึกคัก มั่งคั่งมาช้านาน
- THE PLURALISM THAT BECAME THAI
Featured on an important page of Nakhon Sawan history are the primary goals shared by settlers who arrived here from other lands. They sought a place to live and work that was abundant in natural resources; that place had to have an advantageous location; and transportation routes for trade and exchange had to be interlinked by roads and waterways. Over time, the town expanded its pluralistic dimensions, accommodating Christian churches, Islamic mosques and Buddhist temples. With the residents showing mutual respect for each other’s differences, Nakhon Sawan has long lived up to its name as the “heavenly city” for businesses and for acquiring prosperity.
