1.) How long will it last ? for me it's just one start, so u have to repeat it .. Pls backup ur data once it started

2.) Any permanent solution ? yes, re solder the loose connection with GPU and motherboard

3.) Can u teach me a permanent solution? Sorry No..

4.) What is ur heat setting for hair dryer? I Used "2" which is maximum heat

I tried this solution for my old Compaq Presario CQ 40 - AMD turion X2 Laptop. This may work with other models as well. Main observation is blinking caps lock and num lock light continuously (Not exact amount of time) after you turn on the laptop.
