In this video I explain how to play any video file format (avi, mkv, mp4 etc.) on iPhone/iPad using VLC for Mobile app for iPhone/iPad. In this video I explain how to connect iPhone/iPad to computer via USB port and transfer video file to VLC App using iTunes File Sharing feature.
You have to download “VLC for Mobile” App for iPhone or iPad from App store. Then you can use iTunes to transfer any video from your computer to iPhone.
iPad doesn't support MKV format, so to watch them on iPad, one way is to transfer it to iPad with “VLC for Mobile” app. Another way is to convert the movie to MP4 format first, and then play it on iPad or iPhone.
