Spending some time in Perth? A trip to the vibrant port town of Fremantle (Freo to the locals!) is a must!

This trendy, quirky and walkable suburb is Western Australia’s historic district, with a distinct homage to its maritime past.

Fremantle is SUPER fun, with multiple hidden bars (including rooftop bars down its Main Street), world famous breweries and Perth’s only ‘beach club’….. at least the only one where you can sit on a public beach on a sunbed. There are multiple museums (including the incredible Shipwrecks Museum) and it’s home to the iconic Fremantle Markets, a sprawling undercover market selling all manner of curios, upcoming artist creations, designer products and delicious treats in the food hall.

Fremantle is accessible by a 30 minute train ride from Perth City Centre.
