Specially designed by Fluidity Design Consultants for the revitalization of the Main Fountain Garden, the basketweave fountains each contain 40 small streams, and there are 30 of the basketweave fountains in the Main Fountain Garden. Each of the 1,200 nozzles had to be adjusted by hand to form a shape inspired by a sheath of wheat.
In the center of the ring of nozzles are two other nozzles; a spray nozzle and a single stream jet that has the capability to ignite a flame on top of the water. At night the streams of water are illuminated by RGBACL LED lights.
The heights of these fountains have varied over the years, with the first few years of operation showing a lower version that looked flat. Now, the water pressure has been increased and the full curvature of shape can be seen.
