This is a quick tutorial
This is a quick tutorial with step by step instruction on how to boot the Google Chromium(Chrome) Operating System(OS) on your Netbook, Laptop and Desktop.
The tutorial is shown on the Windows operating system but you can follow similar instruction to boot it on the Mac or Linux.
If you need any help or experience difficulties in any of the steps, please comment below and I will reply ASAP with a solution.
You need "WinRar" software to be installed on your computer before you start this tutorial. "WinRar" is free program that you can download here
http://www.rarlab.com/ and its only few MB.
Please follow these instruction below and use the video tutorial as guide.
- Go to http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/ to download the latest Google chrome OS Beta USB image.
- Go to https://launchpad.net/win32-image-wri... to download the Image Writer for Windows
To start the Boot Menu on your computer
1. Right after you press the Power Button
2. Immediately press the "F12" or "ESC" (On most computer,but it may be different on your brand" repeatedly to load the Boot Menu
3. On the Boot Menu, select the USB device that you stored the OS.
The sign in information for the Google Chromium OS is
Username: "facepunch"
Password: "facepunch"
After your done using the Chromium OS,
1) Press the "Power Button"
2) Unplug the USB stick
3) On the computer and it will automatically boot into your original settings.
