This video is an overview of the single, dual, and portable solar panel options offered by Four Wheel Campers (Pre-March 20, 2023 Production). Solar pre-wire is included in all our campers, except the Project M. To install a solar system with a Project M camper, it must have the pre-wire package. However, regular slide-in, shell, and flatbed campers come pre-wired with a plug on the roof and plug on the rear wall.
The wiring behind the kitchen cabinets and in the battery box area is shown in detail. We also provide a look at the SAE plug on the rear camper, solar monitor (which comes preset), and charge controllers (we provide a 15-amp controller for single solar panels, and a 30-amp controller for dual panels). The camper battery and proper charging voltages are shown as well.
Four Wheel Campers offers a 160-watt roof panel with a charge controller and monitor. A portable panel is available for power when your camper is in the shade. In addition, we offer dual 160-watt solar panels for Flatbed and Grandby models.
