I'm not just a little
I'm not just a little Asian guy, but I'm a little Asian guy who loves food! Thai Boat Noodles to be specific.
I innocently came to this restaurant to taste their famous Thai Boat Noodles. Little did I know, that food tasting quickly turned into an agonizing food challenge.
At first, I tried a couple of tiny little bowls of rich Boat Noodles, with several choices of noodles. The Beef Boat Noodle was full of beefy goodness and the broth was sour with a subtle sweetness. The Pork Boat Noodles were also delicious, with little chunks of pork pieces. I feel that this particular bowl was a little more sour compared to the beef.
Both bowls were garnished with fresh cuts of Morning Glory, which gives it a delicious crunch. Although the boat noodles didn't look like it, but they were actually quite spicy. Definitely high quality and extremely tasty. (That's only if you don't over do it like I did!)
I found out from the staff that they are known for the Thai Boat Noodle challenge. Customers are known to order at least 20 of these littles bowls and stack them up as they complete it.
Stupidly enough, I decided to take on this challenge, as the bowls looked tiny. Obviously, I bit off a little more than I could chew. Literally! The first few bowls were delicious and I thought I was invincible. Once I got to the 11th or 12th bowl, the Boat Noodles all of a sudden tasted disgusting, and looked enormous.

This popular Bangkok restaurant is called The Best Boat Noodles, and is located at Victory Monument's boat noodle alley. Only minutes walk from the Victory Monument BTS station, making it very convenient to get to.
