After two months collecting amber on the south coast of Sweden, I had about 1kg of raw amber, half of which was pieces large enough to polish. But
looking for amber is more fun than polishing amber, so I spent hours googling how to tumble amber, but the consensus seemed to be that amber
is too soft to tumble.
This sounded absurd considering that amber spends anywhere from months
to years in a mix of sand, shells and rocks.
So naturally I had to give it a try using a Lyman 1200 Twin Turbo Vibratory tumbler.
