Idler Pulley removal and replacement
Idler Pulley removal and replacement for Samsung Dryer Model: DV40J3000EW/A2 and similar electric dryers.
If you do not get a OEM (original equipment manufacturer) idler pulley to fix this simple DIY repair, there is a chance that it will not work properly and you will be doing this fix again. This video shows what to look for and how to correct the issue on the aftermarket part you purchased.
I don't go into a lot of detail disassembling the dryer. So please do not give the video a "thumbs down" for that. There are plenty of other videos that show you how to disassemble the dryer to get it to the point where the idler pulley is accessed. Please go watch one or two of those and then come back over here.
