Great class question from a viewer on using ounces instead of grams to calculate. Here is a copy of the response:
@"MAC B"  good question. Actually you made me realize some will want to use a kitchen scale in ounces. You can do this and substitute the number for ounces instead of grams. But for me I'd have to convert the 45 into ounces first. If an item is listed only in ounces, or you only have a kitchen scale, Use this example below (I used a converter for the mitts number). Ex: 128y/3.5 oz= 36.5714286 ypoz. Now convert 45g to oz. 1.5873oz x 36.5714286 ypoz = 58.05y I hope that helps Mac! Thanks!-Kristen
