Exploring Hereford - A small cathedral with a BIG history & the journey home!

Join me for the final part of my epic journey as I explore the county town and cathedral city of Hereford. Hugged by the River Wye and just 16 miles from the border with Wales, Hereford is home to many attractions including the Museum of Cider, the Black and White House Museum and, most famously, the the cathedral! Unfortunately, as our itinerary only allowed 2 hours to explore the city, we had to focus our visit on the cathedral, Chained Library and Mappa Mundi.

After exploring the city, we make our way back home on one of West Midlands Railway's new Class 196s! If you haven't already, be sure to check out the previous two parts of the journey where I make my way to Hereford via Sheffield and Manchester!
