I went to all-you-can-eat Itamae
I went to all-you-can-eat Itamae Sushi in Aqua City Odaiba, Tokyo.
The restaurant purchases tuna every day from Yamayuki, a middle wholesaler that bid for the highest-priced tuna for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2022 at the Toyosu Market's first auction.
The all-you-can-eat menu offers more than 40 items, with a focus on tuna. The restaurant has both counter and table seating. Please enjoy the real pleasure of tasting sushi served at the counter as the chefs make each piece of sushi right in front of you.
The time limit is 70 minutes and the last order is 50 minutes. The price is 5,480 yen for men and 4,380 yen for women. Recommended when you want to eat a lot of your favorite sushi without worrying about the bill.
Ordering is a system using a smartphone. Scan the QR code with your phone to download the menu and place your order. It is very convenient when you are alone or sitting at a table because you can order immediately when you want to eat.
There is no limit to the number of items you can order, so if you are confident about your appetite, you can order a lot at once and eat as much as you want until the time limit.
What I particularly enjoyed were the four items that are limited to one set per person. The tuna, nodoguro, raw sea urchin gunkan, and Japanese beef ribeye. Each of them is a gem with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
If ordered separately, the total price for these alone is 2,532 yen. It is a cosy high-class sushi buffet.
