Welcome to this week's watercolour video tutorial from Morgaine! This week, I'll be showing you how to paint this sweet little songbird among sweet Fall berries, on a lovely seasonal autumnal background.
Equipment List: I'm painting on Saunders Waterford hot press paper, weight 140lb/300gsm, size 1/8th imperial/28cm x 19cm. The colours I use today are: Indigo, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Vandyke Brown, Payne's Grey, Quinacridone Gold, & Lamp Black. I also use Pebeo brand drawing gum and regular table salt. The brushes I use are: a Daler Rowney 2" flat wash brush, an Escoda Ultimo synthetic mop brush size 14, a Pro Arte sword liner brush size Small, a synthetic rigger brush size 0, a Pro Arte detail brush size 2/0, a Princeton Neptune size 4 and a Daler Rowney flat size 2.
