Kapchorwa farmers' record commodity expansion to 4,000 metric tons

Kapchorwa commercial Farmers Association KACOFA, report that a successful restructuring of 4.6Billion shillings debt it owed an international lender as well as a new amalgamated 9.2 Billion shillings credit from the Uganda Development Bank, has expanded its operations by 50%. David Kisa, the Chief Executive Officer of the farmer association which collects togather over 6,000 maize, wheat and barley cultivators in the districts of Kapchorwa, Kween and Bukwo; says interventions in crop financing, working capital and new modern silos constructed have also doubled their capacity to 4,000 Metric tons.
