In this video I am explaining about causes of inflation. There two important causes of inflation first is demand pull inflation and second is cost push inflation. Most important causes of inflation is excessive demand. Excessive demand means not high demand but excessive demand means aggregate demand is higher than aggregate supply. According to keynes important causes of inflation is excessive demand. Keynes proponded inflationary gap theory of inflation. According to milton freedman causes of inflation is excessive money supply. Every time and every where inflation is a monetary phenomenon. Second important causes of inflation is cost push. Cost push may be inhance due to profit push, wage push or Price rise in raw material specially diesel and petroleum product. Important causes of inflation is also structural. Causes of inflation in india and latin American countries is structural. There are several bottleneck in the economy. Budgetary bottleneck, agricultural bottleneck, infrastructural bottleneck create supply side bottleneck. High demand and supply side bottleneck create high inflation. मुद्रास्फीति के 4 प्रमुख कारण हैं। आधिक्य माँग ,आधिक्य मुद्रा आपूर्ति, संरचनात्मक, औऱ लागत जन्य। मुद्रास्फीति का सर्वप्रमुख कारण आधिक्य माँग है-आधिक्य माँग का अर्थ अधिक मांग से न होकर , आपूर्ति के अपेक्षा मांग के अधिक होने से है।जब समग्र मांग ,समग्र आपूर्ति से अधिक होती है तो मुद्रास्फीति का सृजन होता है। प्रसिद्व अर्थशास्त्री कीन्स के अनुसार मुद्रास्फीति एक पूर्णरोजगारस्त्रीय प्रतिभास है अर्थात यह यह पूर्णरोजगार के बाद उत्पन्न होता है।मिल्टन फ्रीडमैन के अनुसार मुद्रास्फीति का सृजन अधिक मुद्रा के प्रसार के कारण होता है।मिल्टन फ्रीडमैन के अनुसार प्रत्येक समय और प्रत्येक स्थान पर मुद्रास्फीति एक मौद्रिक परिघटना है। मुद्रास्फीति का कारण लागतो में वृद्धि भी हो सकती है। लागत में वृद्धि- मजदूरी वृद्धि ,लाभ वृद्धि या कच्चे माल के कीमतों में वृद्धि के कारण हो सकती है।भारत व लैटिन अमेरिकी देशो में मुद्रास्फीति का कारण -संरचनात्मक माना जाता है।यहाँ पर आपूर्ति पक्ष गतिरोध है ,यहां कुछ ऐसे कारण है जिससे आपूर्ति में वृद्धि नही होती है।
