Excursions are expensive in Honolulu. So we found $60 same day round trip on Hawaiian Airlines (Honolulu, Oahu to Kahului, Maui). We had twelve hours to explore the beautiful Island. Our itinerary included driving on the beautiful Highway 30, Whale Lookout on Honoapiilani Highway, watching surfers at Honolua Bay lookout, drinking Coconut water at Coconut Caboose, walking around and shopping on Main St in Lahaina, and visiting the majestic Iao Valley State Monument (Needle Mountain).
