LIBRA-seq: Linking antibody sequence to antigen specificity
Ivelin Georgiev
Associate Professor, Vanderbilt University Medical Center
• LIBRA-seq is a technology for high-throughput mapping of BCR sequence to antigen specificity through sequencing.
• LIBRA-seq was initially validated on samples from two HIV-infected subjects, identifying both HIV- and influenza-specific B cells, predicting antigen reactivity for thousands of single B cells, and discovering a previously unknown broadly neutralizing HIV antibody.
• LIBRA-seq will be of utility for antibody discovery, vaccine evaluation, and antibody-antigen specificity characterization.
