Maintenance and repair work on wind turbine blades have to be carried out rapidly and in a short time, even in winter time.
To meet the highest standards, Sika has developed Sikadur® Blade Repair - a fast curing 2-component resin system used to repair small defects and dry spots within the blade’s laminate structure. Its cure times as quick as 30 minutes will get a wind turbine up and running much quicker than other repair solutions on the market.
Main benefits of Sikadur® Blade Repair Kit:
- Can be used at low temperatures down to 5°C
- Fast curing (in 30 minutes) minimising turbine downtimes
- Excellent fibre wetting
