Creating Cutlines for PNG Images in Adobe Illustrator

Intec guide to creating outlines in Adobe Illustrator for raster graphic images like PNG, TIF, JPG files and using these as vector cutlines around your images.

This guide uses Abobe Illustrator CC2018's Live trace feature.

We are using a Pre-set in Live Trace, which is a customised version of the Silhouette Live Trace expaning the threshold being selected on the standard Silhouette preset.  If you don't have this preset, then use the "Silhouette" preset (seen higher up in the menu in the video).  

We will add a video link (and CARD linking to the video) shortly to show how to adjust the preset to increase the threshold, saving it under a new preset name (as we used in this video).
