Delhiites woke up to a chilly winter morning with a dense fog gripping the national capital. As the mercury plummeted to 1.1 degrees celsius, Delhi recorded coldest New Year’s day in 15 years. Dense fog took over Mundka, Rajghat and the DND flyway areas. The visibility dropped to zero metres, affecting traffic movement in the morning.
