TEN Perth opened on Friday
TEN Perth opened on Friday 20th May, 1988, as NEW Channel 10.
Now after 28 years in Cottonwood Crescent, Dianella, TEN moved to a new state-of-the-art home in Subiaco, on Monday 5th December, 2016.
The last Perth News from Dianella was on Friday 2nd December, 2016, during which the News presenter Narelda Jacobs, sports presenter Tim Gossage and weather presenter Michael Schultz reminisced by showing highlights of the Dianella operation, since the station's opening.
The new studio is located in the exciting property development at the Subi XO precinct, 502 Hay Street, Subiaco, close to Perth’s CBD.
Earlier, Nine Perth opened its new St Georges Terrace home at the end of September 2016 and Seven Perth moved to Osborne Park, to join the West Australian Newspaper, in early 2015.
Sadly, the historic Television Precinct of Dianella will soon be no more, once the land becomes residential, after the demolition of Nine and Ten. Seven's land has already made the transition, with homes being established on the former estate of Perth's first television station.
