Today we are going to show you the last tutorial about the Chanel style jacket.
The only thing left for us to do is to attach the fasteners.
The lowest button should be atatched on the pocket level.
The 1st button will be attached 2,5cm away from the edge and 2cm down from the collar.
We need to draw the points where each of the buttons should be atatched. You need to be very careful and attentive when doing it.
You need to draw the marks accuartely because they are going to be stitched.
You need to learn to work fast and easy.
Be very attentive! Do not forget to fix the threads in the beginning and the end of each seam.
Do not forget to cut all the extra pieces and threads both on the right and the wrong sides.
The seams will make the detail much stronger.
Notice that Natalie is sewing the fasteners with the double thread.
There are some other ways for making seams when attaching fasteners. In this case the technique we are going to show you is not only the most convenient, but also gives the best result.
