The ad shows Colman playing an oil executive by the name of Oblivia Coalmine.
Created by the group Make My Money Matter, the ad aims to make people aware of where their money is going and encourages them to invest in projects that align with their values.
The ad comes as 5 of the world’s major oil companies made a combined $27 billion in profits during the third quarter of 2023 — filling the pockets of oil giant CEOs while the rest of the world struggles with the impacts of the climate crisis, which is made worse by the burning of fossil fuels.
