Surprise red recovery

On this dive I found a big red snapper chilling in a hole. That is unusual as they don't just hide like that. When I pulled it out I realized why. Jason had shot and lost this fish on a dive earlier. It had swam 1000' and went in this hole. Glad I was able to recover it and it didn't go to waste. At 36" to the fork it would have been my personal best but I don't claim it because it was a team effort at this point. No fish left behind.
