We calculate the integral of sin^2xcos^2x using power reducing formulas to turn it all into cosines. There is some cancellation, a second application of the power reducing formula, and then it's straightforward. Integrating powers of sine and cosine is great fun, as you can see! #calculus2 #calculus

sin^2x=(1-cos2x)/2
cos^2x=(1+cos2x)/2
